I would love to be able to say that I stumbled across some Robert Johnson recordings
in my grannie's attic when I was a young boy and have been playing the blues
ever since, but I can't. The truth is that I'm a late comer to playing music, but I'm catching
up!
I'm the one remaining original founding member of
The Sutton Blues Collective
, founded in Sutton Coldfield West Midlands in April 2000. I'd been
playing the guitar for a couple of years prior to the formation of the blues
club, and over the ensuing years I have been privileged to meet
some of the worlds great players.
I am a fingerstyle/slide guitar player.
I have evolved a sound that is uniquely my own and lean ever more toward songwriting.
I perfom regularly and am available in any of the following line ups:
I Released my first CD entitled "Dont Need Too Much" in 2005, which received good reviews,
some radio airplay, local radio interviews & live radio performance.
I Have performed in a supporting roll with Ian Siegal, Paul Lamb, The Kingsnakes,
Johnny Dickinson,
Guy Davis,
Kent du Chaine,Mojo Buford,
Jim Crawford,
Eddie Martin, Catfish Keith,
The Spikedrivers,
Chris Jagger, Rod Clements. Anyway that is the past. Now for the future! I'll See you out there.
